1990 Carver 4207 Mt Pleasant SC

On April 28,2016, this 4207 Carver took on enough water to fry the batteries and some other electrical components in the engine room as well as wet the floor/carpet in the galley and forward stateroom, but due to some quick action by the marina in getting her pumped out and hauled to the boatyard, no further damage was incurred.
The water intrusion was due to a leaky thru hull and every where that got wet was washed down with freshwater and sprayed with CRC to prevent any further corrosion.
I have estimates from the boatyard for the repairs that are needed and will be happy to share with any interested buyers. They range from 16-21K depending on whether you want to replace the carpet and the oil change pump.
Current owner is not interested in doing any thing further and has decided to sell and move on. The $39,900.00 ask price represents quite a bargain for this Cummins powered Carver.
During the insurance survey, the boat was put back in the water briefly, to make sure the engines were good and to find the source of the leak. It was found that the engines did not suffer any water intrusion at all, and are in good running order.
